Flopping
around
disconnected
yet alive
the kitty
has taken
the gecko’s
tail and
bit it
clean off

Hard wood
floors and
even on
my stairs
or in
the kitchen
I receive
what isn’t
a present!

In the Lanai
on the dining
room fucking
table
you Siamese
and Oriental
cats
leave me
your gifts
that are
not presents

The Gecko
simply
regenerates
a new tail
somewhat like
Dr. Who
I would guess
without the
fire or men
and I like
it
because
I’m a geek!
